HOW TO BE SAVED

If you are unsure of, or concerned about your eternal destination, please read this message for you!

Most Religions Teach That Heaven Is a Reward for Hard Work.  Many believe that entrance into Heaven is based on how good they are.  They think that Heaven is a reward that must be earned.  If they are good enough- basically do more good than bad, they go to Heaven. Most religions put man in charge of earning his way into Heaven.  Many religions say that man must save himself from that awful place called Hell.  To us, this is fair.  To us, this seems only right, but according to the Bible: There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12

No Man Can Ever Earn His Way to Heaven.

The Bible teaches that it is impossible for any man to earn his way into Heaven… IMPOSSIBLE!!!  For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. Ecclesiastes 7:20  But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.  Isaiah 64:6 No matter how good we try to be, we are all wicked sinners, and the Bible says, The wicked shall be turned into hell Psalm 9:17

Sin Separates Us from God and Condemns Us to Death.

Each man’s sin separates him from God.  It is impossible for any person to live a perfect life and overcome this separation. But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Isaiah 59:2 Not only is sin the barrier between man and God, but the Bible teaches that the result of sin is always death. For the wages of sin is death. Romans 6:23 Forgiveness Requires Blood The Bible teaches that there is no way to forgive sin unless blood is shed. Without shedding of blood is no remission (forgiveness). Hebrews 9:23

The Blood of Jesus Provides Forgiveness for Our Sin.

God loves man.  God desires to walk with man in harmony and peaceful union.  But the payment required for our sin had to be paid. That is why the Lord Jesus Christ, God the Son, came into the world. He came to give His own blood as a payment for our sin. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners 1 Tim. 1:15 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. Hebrews 9:12 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:’ 1 Peter 1:18-19. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  1 John 1:7. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross Colossians 2:14

Jesus’ Resurrection Provides Life

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John 11:25

Who Is Jesus?

Jesus Christ made the world and all things in it.  He was with God in Heaven before the first star was created.  He was worshipped and praised and adored in Heaven just like God, His Father.  In fact, Jesus is God – God the Son.  One day, nearly 2000 years ago, He left Heaven to be born of a woman.  He came to the Earth as a man for the sole purpose of removing the sin that separates man from God. And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Timothy 3:16 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9

Jesus Is the Only Way to Heaven.

Jesus removes man from the impossible task of saving himself, and is now and forever the only way for man to be saved.  JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY!!!! Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me John 14:6. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.  Acts 4:12

Yes, You Can Go to Heaven!!!

In order to be assured of Heaven, you must acknowledge your condition as a helpless sinner.  You must agree with God’s Word that you will never be able to earn your way there.  Never! As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one Romans 3:10. You must also realize that the only way you can go to Heaven is through the Lord Jesus and the payment He provided for your sin when He suffered died on the cross of Calvary and rose again the third day For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 You must repent.  You must turn from your sin and turn to God. Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:3. You must believe God and call on Him to save you from your sin. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? Romans 10:13 – 14

You Can Be Saved Now.

Now is the time to call on the Lord Jesus to save you.  If you will call on Him in faith and repentance, He will change your life here on earth and give you an eternal home in Heaven.  Call on Him now.  He waits to hear from you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. 2 Corinthians 6:2
